Paris (France), 27 July 2009 – Mr Greg Brock reported for duty to take up the position of Technical Regional Officer, Air Navigation Systems Implementation (Meteorology) in the ICAO European and North Atlantic Office.

Before moving to Paris, Greg was an International Aviation Analyst with the UK Met Office, and was manager of the Satellite Distribution (SADIS) System – a satellite-based broadcast system dedicated to primarily distributing aeronautical meteorological information. SADIS is a dedicated ICAO system (part of the AFS), regulated and controlled under ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices and promulgated in ICAO Annex 3 - Meteorological Services for International Air Navigation and Annex 10 - Aeronautical Telecommunications.

Greg, who is a British citizen, joined ICAO on 27 July 2009 and holds a degree in Mathematics and Meteorology.
