Paris (France), 7 October 2009 – As part of the ICAO European and North Atlantic policy to foster cooperation and exchange of information with States in the European Region, this Office was pleased to host a one day familiarization course on 7 October 2009 for nine officers from the Finnish Civil Aviation Authority. 

During the one-day course, the Finnish delegation learned more about ICAO’s role, its mission, its structure as well as its responsibilities from a Global and Regional perspective. Documentation and presentations which were supplied by ICAO included, inter alia, information on ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices as well as the ICAO perspective of Single European Sky.
