The primary target audience for this workshop were senior officials from the Civil Aviation Authority - State Oversight Authority of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Gosavianadzor), including the personnel responsible for the implementation of the State Safety Programme and the senior safety personnel of the Uzbekistan Airways national air carrier (NAK). The NAK personnel participating in the course are also responsible for operations, air navigation services, airports, maintenance (AMO), aviation training and oversight inspection.

The Course was conducted on the premises of Gosavianadzor (CA oversight authority) and the State Commission for ICAO of the Republic of Uzbekistan and was rendered possible thanks to their active support. Participants – who all passed the final test - demonstrated their ability to apply their newly acquired knowledge in a practical setting.
